np: garbage - you look so fine
ok so apparently david beckham is NOT making a million bucks a week. its more like 208 000 dollars a week, which is not as much as michael ballack who does absolutely nothing for his money, but its still a shit load of money.
anyhoodle, saturday was the funnest day. i thought i was gonna have a quiet afternoon with sam and ez at the study in australia fair. met sam and her friend at pasta mania. ez called to say she'd be late. so we ate first. halfway thru lunch, who should pop up but SANDHYA. apparently she was coming along and i dint know. THEN, anita called and asked where to meet! and so did navleen (who had previously ditched us for a manicure, and in the end dint come anyway, but whatever-i digress). so in the end it turned out to be a full on outing to orchard hotel, where the uni staff were abominably rude and we just went around stealing prospectus from various schools.
went to pasir ris to have a break and wait for nav and muni and look thru all the brochures we got. being the cheapos that we are, sandhya decided to call home and see if anyone could pick us up to ferry us to her house. HELLO HAVE YOU SEEN THE BUS FAIR LATELY NOW THAT WE'RE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR STUDENT CONCESSION!!! God help you if you forget to tap out of the bus. so her brother was nice enough to come pick us up. not many ppl would come pick up their younger sister and her 6 psycho friends. so after a slightly uncomfortable ride in which navleen sat on one of my thighs and my left butt cheek was being stabbed by the seatbelt thingy(i dunno what its called la, all i know is that its really painful!) and my right arm was probably suffocating anita, we arrived.
and it was apple crumble time. ok SOME PPL dint help much at all but i helped with the pastry and apple peeling and i must say it turned out pretty darn good. so it was just a fun night of cooking, eating, camwhoring, laughing at primary school photos (HAHA) and watching movies in the dark. i must say sandhya's dad is exactly like mine. exactly...and she calls her dad 'pops' too, just like me.
sunday was my baby niece's 28th day party, which is like an indian tradition. it was all very boring. my cousins and i got evicted to the back of the house, where we managed to insult some relative. oh well, such is life.
my sis brought her bf over to the house after that. my mother was happily chatting with him without knowing the full extent of their relationship, tho i know she suspects la. she's been bugging me for answers. my sister better be nice to me for the next month or i'm spilling the beans.
and today was the mother of all failed outings. long story short, EVERYBODY pang-sehed me and sandhya and we ended up watching blood diamond all by our lonesomes. it was just us and subway. and calorie filled barley. but blood diamond is a damn good movie. it doesnt hurt that leo dicaprio looks pretty damn hot in it either. tho he's smoking like a chimney the entire time.
man u beat aston villa 3-1. this fixture is getting so old.3 times in the last month.rooney dint score. even MICHAEL CARRICK scored and rooney dint score, there's something wrong with the world. next game - arsenal at the emirates. bring it on. |
